For a long time, I’ve had a vision of putting on a Wim Hof inspired workshop in the garden. So when I met Pranayama coaches and experienced facilitators of Wim Hof inspired breathwork Paul McCarty and Kris Olesiak, I jumped at the opportunity to host an event.
Amongst the many reported benefits of the Wim Hof technique, participants cite an increase in energy levels, reduced stress, an improved immune system and better sleep - so there’s much to gain from learning the technique.
Our Wim Hof inspired workshop will begin with us all gathering under the willow tree for an introductory briefing, following which Paul and Kris will guide us into the powerful breathwork technique. We’ll get to fully experience the breathwork before taking some quiet time to integrate. Next up will be the second component of the Wim Hof experience as we take a plunge into the garden’s natural swimming pond for some cold water immersion. By this stage of the year, the pond’s temperature usually hovers at around 12 degrees, plenty cool enough for you to experience the cold-water high!
Following the swim, we’ll gather at the pop-up kitchen cafe for warming soup (vegan) followed by tea and home-made cakes (vegan and gluten free options available on request).
I’m very excited for this event. Do come and join us and experience the power of your own breath as a catalyst for transformation.
Investment: £50 which includes all refreshments. Booking is via our sister site Breathe4Good.
Please note that this is an outdoor event so weather dependent In the event of rain on 12 May, we may need to take our breathwork practice indoors.
Full joining instructions, including a list of what to bring with you, will be sent out during the week preceding the event.
