The last of the Spring bank holiday weekends deserves to be celebrated. So come and join us for an afternoon of gorgeously expansive heart opening yoga and an exhilarating swim in the garden’s natural swimming pond before enjoying a sacred cacao ceremony under the willow tree. The garden’s roses should be in full bloom and whilst we can’t guarantee sunshine, we’re surely due some decent weather sometime soon?!
We’re thrilled to be welcoming Lexie Wrightson to the garden to lead the afternoon. Lexie is a force of nature; a zen yoga teacher, Reiki master, intuitive healer and certified Cacao guardian, she’ll lead a creative heart opening yoga practice to open and energise before guiding us in a extended relaxation session. Whilst the rest of us take a quick dip (or not - it’s entirely optional), Lexie will brew her pot of ceremonial grade Cacao for us all to enjoy in a special outdoor ceremony. In Lexie’s words:
“we will gather for a sacred Cacao ceremony where you will have the opportunity to meet Mama Cacao through this gentle heart opening plant medicine and enjoy her healing through a drumming journey” (sounds enticing I think!)
As always, we’ll round the afternoon off with homemade cake and specially tailored herbal teas.
The cost of the event is £25, with numbers limited to 20. Booking is via our sister site, Breathe4Good
The event is supporting the charity Beyond the Streets, an amazing charity that works to see women safe from coercion, violence and abuse.
Please bring along a yoga mat, your journal, a blanket and socks for relaxation, swim suit and towel and and extra layer just in case.
This is an outdoor event, so weather dependent. If the weather is inclement on 29 May, we’ll reschedule the event and offer full refunds to anyone who is unable to make the revised date.
