We’re starting the main festival day early with the opportunity to explore poetry through the medium of movement, with our beautifully themed poetry of yoga event
Led by the wonderful Sue Wood, you can expect a gentle flow sequence as Sue guides us on a poetic journey within, with plenty of words and inspiration along the way. The yoga session will close with an extended relaxation, with a poetic accompaniment
After that, you’re free to explore the garden, or to join Sue for an optional swim in the garden’s (unheated) natural swimming pool. Refreshments will be available to purchase, and why not stay on to hear the readings at our Morning has Spoken poetry event too (separate ticket required)
Please bring along a yoga mat, a blanket, a pair of warm socks and any other props that you usually bring to yoga class (NB: we have a limited number of mats available if you don’t have a mat - please email us to reserve one)
The class will be suitable for students will all levels of yoga experience (or none!)
In person tickets for this event are £15, with a maximum of 30 participants. Click here to book yours
