We’re excited to be welcoming back the Musica Charity Choir to Quinton Old Rectory Garden for our Songs at Sunset concert on 10 September. Musica last performed in the garden at a sold-out concert in the summer of 2019, and with a repertoire that genuinely promises something for everyone and the choir in fine voice following a summer of outdoor rehearsals, we’re planning an uplifting evening in an inspiring setting.
We’ll have a bar serving wine, fizz, bottled beer and soft drinks before the concert and during the interval, and the ticket price includes delicious seasonally inspired savoury and sweet interval canapés.
We’re hosting the concert in support of Olney based charity Advantage Africa, a cause that we’ve been close to for many years now. Advantage Africa work with disadvantaged people in East Africa and one of the charity’s founders will be with us on the evening to share some of the very tangible changes the charity has brought about though its work. We’ll be selling raffle tickets on the night too with some very special prizes on offer.
The concert itself will start at 7pm, but we invite concert go-ers to arrive from 6pm and take some time to wander the gardens (with a glass of wine in hand if you like!) beforehand. We expect the evening to conclude by 9pm.
Please bring along picnic chairs, blankets and cushions to make yourself comfortable for the concert.
Parking for the event is on-road outside of Old Rectory. We’ll have some limited parking available on the drive for anyone with access requirements. Please get in touch (hello@garden4good.co.uk) if you’d like to reserve a parking space.
Please note that this is an outdoor event. If the weather on 10 September is wet, we will move the concert to an indoor venue in the village.
Tickets for the Song at Sunset event are £20 and can be booked via our sister site Breathe4Good.co.uk
